The Rogue Valley and Surrounding
Regions
The Rogue river valley is a large region,
spanning from 8,000 foot mountains near Crater Lake to the mouth of the river
at the Pacific Ocean. Because the Rogue runs a sinewy course, towns throughout
southern Oregon are touched by this majestic waterway.
As such, you
will find on this website information from the high Cascades near central
Oregon to the towns and sites near the California border; from the wine country
to the whitewater; and from the absolute solitude of a middle of nowhere
mountain to the cosmopolitan small town amenities.
