Rogue River Hiking, Biking, and
Kayaking: Premier Outdoor Adventure Activities
The kayaking on the Rogue river and
hiking and biking along its shore and in the surrounding mountains is
phenomenal. From multi-day wilderness immersions to two hour jaunts, the Rogue
river backcountry is a great place to play!
Experienced kayakers may
want to tackle the Wild and Scenic Section of the Rogue for a three or more day
trip through pristine wilderness.
Rogue
river inflatable kayaking with outfitters is a great way for first-timers
to see the river from your own craft. The Rogue river trail, which provides
30-plus miles of riverside and mountain bliss, is a world class hiking trail
featuring amazing scenery, a well-marked and kept trail, and solitude. Finally,
the mountain biking, not allowed on the Wild and Scenic trail but found in many
other areas of the Rogue, ranges from mellow to quite
challenging.
